Best events under £100 this week: pop, comedy, sport

The Daily Star has rounded up some of the best events you can still get tickets to for less than £100 this week, from 90s pop legends to male strippers.

While ticket prices have soared in recent years, there are still some surprisingly good bargains to be found if you know where to look. With everything from Premier League giants and American football to hit musicals and comedy superstars on offer, there's plenty to keep Brits entertained.

Irish acts and 90s pop nostalgia

Two bargains this week include gigs to award-winning Belfast tenors The Shamrocks. They are in Edinburgh tonight (Wednesday), Manchester on Friday, Glasgow on Sunday and Liverpool on Monday, with tickets less than £70.

Tickets for fellow Irish group the Mary Wallopers are less than £50 each in Liverpool, Manchester, Nottingham and Leeds. Ex-Westlife star Brian McFadden is also in concert alongside former Boyzone star Keith Duffy in Wycombe and Poole.

Derry rockers The Undertones bring their 50th anniversary show to Sunderland, Sheffield and Manchester this week with tickets starting at £44.

Comedy and entertainment deals

Comedian Paul Smith has crowds roaring with laughter, but prices for his gigs will raise a smile too. Tickets for the Liverpool funnyman's shows in Manchester tonight and tomorrow start at just £18, while tickets for his gig in Newcastle start at £65.

His fellow scouse comic Adam Rowe is performing in London on Friday, with tickets starting at £37. Tickets for comedian Mike Bubbins' show in Brighton tomorrow start at £61, and tickets for Friday night comedy the Hoxton Cabin in London start at just £26.

Spice up your life!

Ex-Spice Girl Mel C is on tour in Manchester, Birmingham and London this week, with tickets for Sporty Spice's shows starting at just £28.

For some extra spice, male strip show Magic Men in Glasgow offers a night of fun with tickets starting at £79. Performer Will Parfitt promises: "Every girl is going to feel special on that night."
