Anton Du Beke Releases Christmas Single Dance My Way To Christmas
Anton Du Beke Christmas Single Dream Come True

Strictly Come Dancing judge Anton Du Beke has called releasing a Christmas single a "dream come true" as he moves beyond the BBC ballroom. The track, Dance My Way To Christmas, which he co-wrote, is set for release on November 6.

A Festive Single and Tour

Du Beke has co-written the swing track Dance My Way To Christmas, which he first posted on YouTube last year. It also features vocals from Lance Ellington. The single will be released next month ahead of the festive season.

Du Beke will also perform the song as part of his new festive show, Anton At Christmas, which runs from December 10-22 across the UK. The limited run includes dates in Watford, Oxford, Liverpool, London, Wolverhampton, Nottingham, Bournemouth and Brighton.

Du Beke's Excitement

"Launching a Christmas single is something I’ve always wanted to do, for as long as I can remember," Du Beke said. "For me, Christmas is the most magical time of year, and the music played is a huge part of that and what makes it so memorable. All the favourites are rolled out, and for Dance My Way To Christmas to possibly be part of the seasonal playlists is a dream come true!"

He added: "When we got into the studio with the band and Lance, it was everything I could have dreamed of. I can’t wait to share it with people."

Recent Strictly Appearance

The announcement follows Du Beke's surprise performance on Strictly earlier this month, when he and fellow judge Shirley Ballas took to the floor for a special group performance. Two teams of professional dancers went head-to-head in a Ballroom vs Latin showdown, with Du Beke singing Arctic Monkeys' 2006 hit I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor.

Du Beke previously released a 2017 album, From The Top, which included covers of classics such as Putting On The Ritz, Fly Me To The Moon and It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year. His Christmas single will be available to stream and download on the usual music platforms from November 6.
