Xbox has released over 60 minutes of extended gameplay footage for two of its biggest upcoming titles: Fable and Halo: Campaign Evolved. The videos provide a deeper look into the games following the Xbox Games Showcase.
Fable Gameplay Deep Dive
Playground Games' Fable, delayed to February 23 to avoid GTA 6's launch, received a 30-minute demo. The footage offers an uninterrupted view of the rebooted Albion, described as Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 with a whimsical filter. It highlights player choices, such as whether to kill a talking pig, and shows how NPCs react based on reputation. For example, the protagonist hires a beggar named Jack at his pub after building a friendship. The demo also explores relationship dynamics, including marriage, children, and breakups via a menu toggle. Playground Games promises 1,000 fully voiced characters in the final game.
Halo: Campaign Evolved Demo
Microsoft also released a 28-minute demo for Halo: Campaign Evolved, featuring the fifth mission, Assault On The Control Room. The remake offers a glossed-up version of the original Halo. A separate video showcases the new third-person perspective in The Silent Cartographer mission. Halo: Campaign Evolved, lacking competitive multiplayer, launches on July 28, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Both demos are available for viewing, with Fable's trailer shared on social media by the official Fable account.
