The Harry Potter Forbidden Forest Experience is set to open at Bolesworth Castle, Cheshire, from December 10, inviting fans to explore a 1.95km multisensory trail through an enchanted woodland setting.
The site lies around an hour's drive from Liverpool, and visitors arriving after dark will follow a winding path lined with towering trees and original soundscapes designed to evoke mystery and adventure.
Magical Creatures and New Attractions
Guests will encounter magical creatures from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts franchises, including the Hippogriff and the Niffler, brought to life through light, projection and interactive elements.
New features exclusive to the UK stop at Bolesworth Castle include a magical Golden Egg and a chilling Death Eater encounter. Photo opportunities are available beside iconic wizarding world elements such as Quidditch and characters like Hagrid.
Visitors can also step into a wand duel, test their spellcasting skills and attempt to summon a patronus.
Themed Village and Tickets
The trail ends in a themed village where guests can warm up with themed food and drinks, and browse official Harry Potter merchandise and exclusive souvenirs.
Joana Da Silva Pina, strategic team lead at Fever, said: "There’s nowhere quite like the UK to experience the magic of Harry Potter, and we’re thrilled to bring A Forbidden Forest Experience back after two incredible runs in Manchester."
She added: "This time, Bolesworth Castle will provide the perfect setting for fans to celebrate the wizarding world after dark, with new surprises joining some of the moments visitors already know and love. We can’t wait for both first-time guests and returning fans to experience what’s waiting in the forest."
Tickets go on general sale on Tuesday, November 3, with pre-sale access available to those joining the waiting list via the Fever app and website.
