The Hoover 200W Cordless Stick Vacuum, a rival to Dyson and Shark models, is now available for £125.10 at Yimbly after a discount and an additional promo code, making it £373 cheaper than the Dyson V15 Detect.
October's heavy rainfall has brought mud into homes, particularly for pet owners whose animals track dirt and shed fur on cushions, sofas and carpets. The Hoover model features a Mini Turbo Pet tool designed to tackle stubborn pet hair and grime on both hard floors and soft furnishings.
Price and savings at Yimbly
The vacuum is already discounted by £46 from its standard price. Shoppers can apply the code Autumn10 at checkout on Yimbly, which is owned by Reach PLC, the parent company of this site. This reduces the price from £185 pre-sale to £125.10, a total saving of £59.90.
One Hoover user said: "This has an incredible 200W of suction power that effortlessly lifts stubborn dog and cat hair out of carpets and off hard floors." The vacuum is reported to glide across various surfaces, and advanced anti-tangle technology helps prevent hair from wrapping around the brush roller.
Features and comparisons
The vacuum includes LED lights on the floorhead to illuminate hidden dust and dirt, while dual-sided edges capture dust along both sides, which is useful for skirting boards and corners. Pet owners have praised it for picking up fur quickly.
These features put it in direct competition with pricier models. The Dyson V15 Detect offers 60 minutes of runtime, powerful suction, and can remove pet hair via the Digital Motorbar, but its standard price is £699.99, now cut by £200 to £499.99. This makes the Hoover 200W model at Yimbly £373 cheaper.
However, the Hoover lacks a dust-detect sensor and the capability to spiral hair directly into the bin. It also does not include automatic power adjustment, so users must change power settings manually when switching between hard floors and carpeted areas. The Shark PowerPro Pet vacuum, priced at £299 and now reduced to £199, features a self-cleaning brush roll designed for pet hair.
User reviews on performance
One Hoover customer who praised its suction power also commended its overall performance: "The three speed modes make it easy to switch from quick fur cleanups to deep carpet cleaning, while the LED headlight makes it incredibly easy to spot hidden pet hair bunnies hiding under furniture."
Another owner posted a review on Yimbly, saying: "Great Hoover vacuum cleaner. Good Power. Easy to use and very easy to empty. And great being cordless." An additional buyer commented: "Really excellent, easy to use and lightweight for carrying. I love it. Had no idea there was so much dog and cat fluff in the carpets."
