Candy Cane Crossing Christmas attraction to open in Gateshead
Candy Cane Crossing Christmas event to open in Gateshead

Candy Cane Crossing, a new Christmas attraction, will open in Gateshead this year on King Street, located on the top floor of the No Limits activity centre.

What to Expect at Candy Cane Crossing

The event promises an experience 'packed with magical rooms, cheeky elves, fun activities and unforgettable photo spots that families love.' Visitors can explore the Elf Shrinking Tunnel, Santa’s Post Office, the Snow tunnel, the Elf Bunkhouse, Mrs Claus’ Bakery, and other themed rooms.

The visit culminates with a meeting with Santa Claus himself. The experience lasts around 40 minutes, with various time slots available to book.

Dates and Ticket Prices

Candy Cane Crossing will be open from November 23 to December 22. Tickets are on sale now, priced from £14.99 for adults and £24.99 for children, including a Christmas gift. Children under 12 must be accompanied by someone aged 18 or over with a valid adult ticket.

The announcement comes as several other festive events in the North East have been affected by poor weather, with rain and winds of up to 60mph forecast for the weekend, leading to cancellations and venue closures, including Sunday's Quayside Market.
