Primark lip liner compared to £22 Huda Beauty dupe
Primark lip liner vs £22 Huda Beauty dupe

A makeup artist has shared a lip liner from Primark that she swears by, costing just £2.50. Beth Milligan suggests the product is a comparable dupe to the £22 Huda Beauty version, which is £19.50 more expensive.

Makeup artist's go-to product

Beth said there is "one thing" she is never without in her makeup routine: a good lip liner and gloss combination. She highlighted the Primark liner as a budget-friendly alternative to pricier options, noting that trying multiple shades can quickly add up to over £200.

She put the liner to the test by brushing her teeth after applying it, and it held firm throughout.

The Primark product and its features

The product is the Ultra Fix Lip Stain Liner, available in shades Mocha and Latte. Primark's website describes it as a long-lasting stain formula that keeps lips defined and fresh all day, with a precise felt-tip applicator for easy lining and filling.

Beth called the Mocha shade "stunning" but found Latte slightly "too pinky" for her taste, as she prefers nude tones. She described the finish as "really, really nice," comparing it to a felt tip pen. After rubbing her finger across her lips, nothing came off.

Recommendations and reactions

Beth advised swatching the shades "if you can" to check the tone before buying, but added, "for £2.50, you cannot go wrong." At the end of her video, she wrote: "I had this on for six hours, and it faded, but didn't come off!!"

In the comments, one person mentioned liking the original liners in the range, which cost 75p, but Beth responded: "These are better, trust me!" Another commenter said, "Never sleep on a Primarni liner."
