Former Home and Away actress Pia Whitesell has offered her social media followers an exclusive peek inside the stylish headquarters of her successful beauty venture, Macabalm. The 42-year-old entrepreneur, who launched the cult macadamia balm in 2020, shared the rare glimpse via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday evening.
A Glimpse Inside Macabalm HQ
The office space embodies a minimalist yet luxurious aesthetic, defined by neutral tones and elegantly curved furniture. An oval wooden desk serves as the room's centrepiece, adorned with a sleek computer and a large matte black vase overflowing with white flowers. Behind it, built-in wooden shelving displays neatly organised skincare products, books, and decorative items.
Adding to the serene ambiance are textured rugs, warm timber finishes, and soft lighting, which includes a striking sculptural pendant lamp. A plush cream sofa with oversized cushions provides a comfortable seating area. Never one to hide her refined taste, Pia strategically placed her Celine handbag on a grey ottoman in the centre of the frame. "Macabalm HQ. So many awesome things coming," she teased in the caption.
Luxury in the Details
The star also uploaded a close-up photo of the office's kitchenette, which featured a truly extravagant appliance: a limited edition coffee machine valued at a staggering $17,500. She captioned this snapshot simply as "Office station," accompanied by a brown heart and coffee emoji.
This office reveal follows recent social media posts where Pia showcased parts of the $57 million Mediterranean-style mansion she shares with her husband, influential Hollywood figure Patrick Whitesell, in Los Angeles' upscale Holmby Hills. The property, purchased in 2021, boasts a pool, cinema, four powder rooms, and a fully-stocked, underlit bar manned by Patrick himself.
From Soap Star to Beauty Mogul
Pia's journey from Australian soap star to global beauty brand founder is marked by Macabalm's clean-beauty credentials and sophisticated marketing. The brand has found international success since its 2020 launch. The couple, who married in a secret ceremony in 2021, have extensively renovated their sprawling estate, working with top Hollywood designers like Clint Nicholas Studio.
The home's highlights, which Pia has frequently shared, include a wood and stone spiral staircase, a terraced patio, and a formal dining room with a unique lighting fixture resembling sausage balloons. Spanning approximately 19,000 square feet, the estate also features a grand driveway, a gourmet kitchen, a library, and a separate guest house.
