Women want to try bicep grinding in bed, men say they'd 'never forget' it
Bicep grinding in bed: women want it, men say 'never forget'

A woman has taken to Reddit to ask whether it would be weird to grind on her partner's bicep during foreplay. She described their friends with benefits arrangement and his notably developed arms, saying she wanted to 'position the kitty and start grinding on his bicep.'

Other women were quick to support her, with one saying, 'Can relate. You're not weird at all. [It's] pecs and hips for me,' and another adding, 'Forearms over here, baby.' When she asked if it was 'too weird' from a male perspective, the answer was a resounding no.

Men's enthusiastic response

There was nothing but enthusiasm for what men dubbed a 'bicepsual' act in bed. 'You would not be able to deflate my ego,' wrote one. 'I'd literally be bench pressing skyscrapers,' joked another. One guy said, 'It's weird as hell on the surface but it's something that, if it happened to me, I would literally never forget it.' Others labelled it 'so hot' or 'flattering'.

The obsession with the bicep isn't new, with 1.8 million TikTok posts dedicated to the body part, including videos of young women eating sushi off their boyfriend's flexed arm muscle.

Therapist explains the appeal

Psychosexual therapist Becky Crepsley-Fox told Metro: 'This isn't weird at all. Grinding against a partner's body is something I hear about a lot, and a bicep is just one more place to do it.' She explained that the allure of a bicep can work on a few levels, from representing masculinity to the practical benefit of a large, firm surface to grind on.

Grinding on a partner's bicep is a type of broadening, which covers a larger area of the vulva to stimulate more nerve endings. 'Many women actually prefer broadening to penetration, since most can't orgasm from penetration alone and need clitoral contact,' Becky said. 'The continuous clitoral contact from broadening feels good, and because she's the one doing the grinding, she's in control of the movement, speed and pressure.'

How to try it

Becky suggests having your partner tense their arm and keep it still so you set the pace. 'Straddling it while he's lying down or sitting gives you the most control,' she explains. 'Start slowly and tell him what feels good. You might want to keep clothes or underwear on to avoid chafing, or use lube if you're naked.'

Other than that, get ready to inflate your partner's ego and have a great orgasm.
