Emmerdale: Sadie targets Caleb, Dingle feud over Samson

Emmerdale viewers should prepare for another week of drama as Joe Tate convinces Sadie King to help with his revenge, the Dingles argue over Samson's impending return, and Vinny has his day in court.

The last few weeks of the ITV soap have been filled with drama. Following the devastating deaths of Dawn Taylor and Jimmy King, Vinny Dingle had to face the consequences of his dangerous driving, which ran Jimmy off the road. Elsewhere in the village, Gabby Thomas's illness continued to get worse, with Manpreet concerned for her well-being as she continues to obsess over her diet.

Joe and Sadie plot revenge on the Milligans

Kim is worried Joe is masking his grief with alcohol. Meanwhile, Serena expresses her worry over how much anger Thea is carrying. Later, a drunk Joe tries to drive away in his car, only to be stopped by Thea. Joe revs his engine, but Thea holds her ground. When Thea brings drunk Joe back to Home Farm, Kim thanks her for being so lenient with him.

Kim berates Joe for almost making the exact same mistake as Vinny, and Serena worries Thea's intentions have become darker. Joe recruits Sadie for a new scheme, still eager to wreak revenge. Joe wants her to spy on the Milligans and obtain evidence to destroy them. Before long, Sadie has a plan — she thinks she can seduce Caleb and tear the Milligans apart.

Despite Joe warning her how strong Caleb and Ruby are together, Sadie is confident. As the ladies all bond over a drinking game, secrets are soon revealed. Cain is suspicious when Sadie makes it clear she's sticking around. Cain warns Caleb that Sadie will destroy his life, but Caleb's confident he's too smart for her.

Thea plots to reel Kim in

Kim is pulled over whilst driving by the police, but Thea arrives and lets her go. Kim is relieved, but once Kim has driven off, the officer asks Thea if that was what she wanted, and Thea seems pleased with the scheme she's enacting. Later, Thea explains to Serena how she's managed to convince Kim she now has her back. Serena is increasingly concerned, but Thea is seemingly still hellbent on revenge, earning Kim's trust to soon shatter it to smithereens.

Gabby sells the Hide to Robert

Having missed the funeral, Gabby arrives at Jimmy's grave with flowers. Robert approaches and suggests she can make it up to Nicola with actions rather than words. Meanwhile, Nicola is still upset that Jimmy's money remains unfound. Sadie arrives, asking Nicola to hear her out.

Soon Nicola is left intrigued when Gabby suggests she has an idea to make things right between them. She wants to give Nicola money through the deal she's made to sell the Hide to Robert. As Gabby breaks out in a coughing fit, Laurel urges her to explain why she was in the hospital, and Nicola can't help but feel for her niece. Soon they are all happy to be reunited. Later, an emotional Gabby and Laurel hand over the keys.

With Aaron confused, Robert privately explains and promises to stop scheming once the deal's gone through. Serena is thrilled to be made his manager. Robert's excited for tomorrow's reopening, but could a conversation put a pause on things?

Vinny faces his future

Vinny leaves flowers at Jimmy's grave, and Mandy invites him home for tea. Later, Vinny is amazed to find all the family gathered. Vinny feels the love, ready to face his court date tomorrow. Clearly worried about the day ahead, Vinny is comforted by Mandy and Paddy, who try to convince him he'll be back with them in no time. Soon, sombre Vinny says his goodbyes. As Aaron urges him to remember his advice, a scared Vinny gets ready to go to court.

Samson's return causes havoc

Different letters are delivered around the village. Joe disregards his, Nicola sees who it is from and bins it. Joe is seen with a brown briefcase, clearly putting a new plot into motion. Nicola's grateful for Bob's support, but Bob too has had bad news.

Matty is finding it hard living at the farm with baby Leyla; he's not getting enough sleep. With Matty moving out of Emmerdale Farm, Moira offers him to move into the Dingles, but Belle can sense trouble ahead as she privately knows Samson is being released soon. And sure enough, battle lines are drawn between Moira, and Sam and Lydia over Matty having moved into the room Sam and Lydia had earmarked for Samson's return. Will Moira meddle?

Moira's stance has alienated her from the rest of the family. Matty tells her she needs to forgive Samson. Sadie reels Ruby back in with a sob story. Robert proposes a high-stakes game of poker to Joe and Jai in the hope of winning big. Kev wants in until he hears Claudette's playing. Robert's determined to stick to his plan — to win! But will he?
