Agatha Christie Items in New London Exhibition

A new exhibition, "Agatha Christie: A World of Mystery," is set to open at the British Library later this year, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the celebrated author's death. The exhibition will feature personal items, many never publicly displayed, including her typewriter, correspondence, family photographs, and original notebooks and scripts for her novels.

Exploring Christie's Inspirations

The exhibition aims to explore how Dame Agatha's life, travels, and interests inspired her work and the creation of iconic characters such as Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. Her great-grandson, James Prichard, stated that the exhibition offers remarkable insights into her professional and personal life, celebrating her immense achievements.

A Legacy of Mystery

Born in 1890, Dame Agatha penned 80 crime novels and over 25 plays, with her works selling approximately two billion books worldwide. The exhibition will provide a unique glimpse into the mind of the world's best-selling novelist.
