World Cup Makes Men 'Really Randy,' Says Adult Creator Skylar Mae

Adult content creator Skylar Mae, 23, has reported a surge in attention and earnings during the World Cup, claiming the event has made men particularly aroused. The Arizona-based influencer, who has over four million Instagram followers, says her monthly income has increased by $100,000 (£74,542.50) since the tournament began.

Unusual Requests from Fans

Skylar, who has been producing saucy content for five years, revealed that fans are asking her to wear national team jerseys, mock rival countries, and even stomp on soccer icons. She explained that the World Cup has been the biggest month of the year for her so far, and it's not over yet.

"I've had people asking me to learn soccer chants while wearing soccer socks and shorts because they swear it'll help their team win, and even make sure I send the custom right before kick-off because they're convinced it'll bring them good luck. Also things like me stretching, pretending I'm preparing for the big game," she said.

Superstitious Fans and Rituals

Skylar noted that the most entertaining requests come from die-hard fans. "The funniest requests are always from the really die-hard fans. They'll send me requests explaining exactly why I need to mention a certain player, or avoid talking about another team. You can tell they've put a lot of thought into it."

She added, "I’ve honestly learned more about soccer from my subscribers than I ever would have just watching the games. Everyone has that one player they absolutely can't stand, and they make sure I know about it."

Skylar believes that football becomes a part of people's personality from a young age, so when the World Cup arrives, it can take over everything. This, she says, explains why so many men are flocking to her.

Global Fan Base and English Rituals

While many of her fans are based in the US, she receives requests from all over the world. English fans, in particular, have stood out for their superstitions. "I get loads of requests from English fans. I've had guys asking me to wear the same socks or underwear before every game because they're convinced it's become lucky," she said.

"One guy insisted I eat mashed potatoes before England played Ghana because he'd done it during their last win and didn't want to break the streak. One of the funniest messages I got was from an England fan who said he wasn't going to shave until England got knocked out, so he wanted me to film a custom telling him to 'keep the beard going.'"

Skylar added, "Soccer fans take their rituals way more seriously than I ever expected. I always thought the stereotype about English soccer fans was that they'd be loud, but I've actually found they're just incredibly superstitious. They really believe the smallest thing can change their team's luck."

American Fans and the Host Nation Effect

In contrast, she described US fans as more positive and less focused on hating the opposing team. She attributes this to the tournament being hosted in the US, which has drawn Americans into the hype.

Passion Spills Over

Skylar admitted that the World Cup has made many people horny, and she cannot believe how much attention she has received. "Absolutely it turns people on. I think that a lot of the passion that fans have for their teams spills into passion in other ways. They're excited, they're celebrating, they're emotional and I definitely notice that. When all you are thinking about is soccer and the World Cup for weeks, of course it’s going to become a part of your sexual fantasies," she concluded.
