Susanna Reid has opened up about the secret behind her youthful appearance at 55, admitting she isn't "going to pretend" it's all natural. The Good Morning Britain presenter, who joined the ITV show as lead presenter in 2014, has become a household name in the UK, hosting alongside Richard Madeley, Kate Garraway and Ed Balls.
'Tiny tweakments' and beauty staples
In an interview with Woman & Home, Reid said: "It's difficult to know, isn't it, because obviously there are little things that I do, like I have tiny tweakments. I'm not going to pretend it's all entirely just natural ageing and it's everything's just natural."
While she didn't specify what these tweakments involve, she did name some of her favourite beauty products. "I use Aveeno moisturising cream, and I use that religiously day and night," she said. She also mentioned using "Trinny's The Elevator neck cream because I think as we get older, sometimes we can neglect our necks and so I use that." Reid reportedly drinks very little alcohol.
Piers Morgan return rumours
The revelation follows Reid addressing speculation that Piers Morgan could return to Britain's Got Talent. Morgan was a judge on the ITV talent show from 2007 to 2010 and is tipped to return for its 20th anniversary in 2027.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Monday (October 12), Reid noted she had asked Morgan about it, and he replied with a laughing emoji. "Then I noticed that he wasn't denying it. Whatever happens, he definitely wants us to talk about it," she said. "He has always said that in its heyday, when he was on the judging panel, Britain's Got Talent had its highest ratings, its greatest appeal. So what do they need? They need Piers Morgan back on the judging panel."
In 2020, Morgan revealed that ITV executives had reached out "several times": "I was approached several times to go back to Britain's Got Talent when Simon Cowell got injured. That would have been quite fun, but I'd rather do it with him." He added: "He and I had a great chemistry and it would have been quite a fun one to go back in and have a laugh with Simon, but he'd have to be involved. I've seen how other people are with him."
