Strictly star puts £7m home up for sale after split

Former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Natasha Kaplinsky has placed her £7million countryside mansion on the market after a “devastating” end to her marriage. The ex BBC One presenter separated from her investment banker husband Justin Bower earlier this month, telling the Daily Mail: “We can confirm that we have made the joint decision to end our marriage and our focus now is on our children.”

The 15th-Century Farmhouse

They married three months after their romance began in 2005, but now Justin has already moved out of their 15th-century farmhouse and the nine-bedroom home is up for sale. Boasting a swimming pool, tennis court and a small outdoor house set on 200 acres, the home has been renovated over the years but still features original fireplaces and exposed beams.

It also has a games room, cinema, poker room and its own bar, along with a gym and special room for dogs. The Grade-II listed farmhouse has eight bathrooms and is located in the heart of East Sussex, with estate agents branding the home “remarkable”.

Family Life in the Countryside

The property was where the pair raised their two teenage children, along with two pygmy goats, three sheep, nine alpacas and one cow. She and Justin moved from their home in London to the countryside in 2014, admitting: “It’s a bit of a contrast but it’s amazing. We have no regrets about making the move. Not for a second.”

The move came after her then three-year-old daughter Angelica asked “if she could have a manicure and her nails painted”, with Natasha explaining: “I figured, at the age of three, that’s not what she should know about. So it was the final straw and we made the move. The children love being in the country and it’s the best thing for us as a family.”

Additional Property Sale

As recently as 2023, Natasha said she would “love” to renew her wedding vows with Justin before their devastating split. But after calling it quits, Natasha and Justin have also put their ski chalet in the French Alps up for sale for £2.7million. That property has five bedrooms, a sauna and a massage room, along with a wine cellar.
