Former Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn has opened up about the diet that maintains her impressive physique while revealing she's earned more than £1.5 million through her OnlyFans career since being dismissed from the Channel 4 soap.
From Soap Star to Fitness Influencer
The actress, best known for playing Mandy Richardson on Hollyoaks from 1996 until 2021, shared intimate details of her daily eating routine with her 253,000 Instagram followers. In a revealing post featuring images of her supplements and healthy meals, Dunn explained her philosophy towards food and fitness has completely transformed.
"The truth is… I don't eat to be small. I eat to nourish my body to make it strong," she wrote. "That shift changed everything for me - how I train, how I think about food, and how I feel in my body."
The carousel of images showed Dunn posing in a pole fitness studio wearing a skimpy pink sports bra and high-waisted green bottoms, demonstrating the results of her dedicated fitness regime.
A Day on Sarah's Plate
Dunn provided a forensic breakdown of her typical daily meals, emphasising that her approach focuses on "fuel, not restriction". Her diet includes:
- Breakfast: Overnight oats, which she admitted she's "obsessed" with
- Snacks: A bowl of yogurt with strawberries, almond butter and agave syrup
- Afternoon: Protein shake
- Dinner: Homemade chilli or chicken with sweet potato and stir-fried vegetables
- Supplements: Symprove gut health supplement and hydration sachets
She stressed the importance of balance in her diet, noting that she still enjoys pastries on weekends.
Financial Success After Hollyoaks Exit
The Daily Mail recently revealed that Dunn's venture into adult content has proven extraordinarily lucrative. Financial records for Catpig Ltd, the company she established to manage her OnlyFans earnings, show she's made approximately £500,000 over the past two years.
Even more impressive, during the previous 24 months of trading in 2022 and 2023, she earned just over £1 million, bringing her total earnings from the platform to more than £1.5 million over four years.
For this year alone, Sarah's firm boasts a bottom line of £369,000 in cash and assets. She has also diversified her investments by establishing Catpig Properties Ltd, through which she purchased a £250,000 rental property in an upmarket area of Cheshire.
Controversial Departure and New Beginnings
Sarah was axed from Hollyoaks in November 2021 after an unnamed co-star logged a formal complaint about her OnlyFans account. Channel 4 bosses subsequently changed cast members' contracts to prohibit them from launching similar subscription pages.
Despite the controversy, Dunn has no regrets about her career choices. Earlier this year, she claimed that OnlyFans is "safer" than working on Hollyoaks, revealing she had been the victim of a terrifying stalker ordeal during her time on the soap.
"I was getting horrendous messages on Instagram through an account, really disturbing that I went to Hollyoaks with and I contacted the police about," she told The Sun. "But they don't do anything and they can't do anything. And that's terrifying."
She explained that messages sent to her on OnlyFans are pixilated, giving her control over which communications she views - a level of protection she didn't have on mainstream social media platforms.
Reflecting on her journey in 2023, Dunn told her followers: "One year ago today I stood my ground for one of the first times in my life. It was scary as hell, I didn't really know what direction this journey would take me in, I just knew that I had to do what was right for me and my family."
She described her OnlyFans experience as a journey of "freedom, empowerment, taking back control, joy and fun", adding that she has "zero regrets" over her choices.
Fans pay £11 per month to access her content, with additional fees for exclusive snaps sent directly to their inboxes by the star.
