Australian model and swimwear designer Sahara Ray has died aged 34, her family confirmed in a statement to TMZ. She was known for her brief relationship with singer Justin Bieber in 2016.
Her family told TMZ: “She passed away last night surrounded by family at the hospital. She was so loved.” No cause of death has been given.
First Child and Recent Life
Sahara, the daughter of surfer Tony Ray, had welcomed her first child earlier this year. In April, she shared a video of herself playing with her baby daughter Snow Ray while Bieber’s 2025 hit Everything Hallelujah played.
The model, who had just shy of 900,000 followers on Instagram, wrote simply: "Baby snow hallelujah." Her account featured pictures from her life and her swimwear line.
Past Relationships
Sahara was photographed on holiday in Hawaii with Justin Bieber in 2016 during a brief relationship. Before that, she was linked to actor Cody Simpson in 2015 following his split from Gigi Hadid.
