Roy Keane's son Aidan and his wife Patsy have welcomed their first child, a baby girl. The arrival comes a year after the couple married in a Welsh wedding in 2025.

Aidan, the son Roy shares with wife Theresa, married his longtime love Patsy last year. The couple have now become first-time parents.

Patsy shares the news on TikTok

Patsy confirmed the happy news in a video posted on TikTok, as reported by RSVPlive. She captioned the post: "Heaven sent us an angel girl," in reference to her late mother.

Back in April, Patsy revealed she was pregnant and posted a video of the moment she told Aidan the news. She captioned that TikTok video, which featured footage of the couple sharing a kiss at the altar before walking down the aisle and a clip of Aidan finding out he was going to be a dad: "6 months ago you made me a wife... and now you've made me a mummy.

"The past 6 months you’ve held my hand through the hardest days I’ve ever had, but you also gave me my happiest ones. I love you more than you’ll ever know."

A growing family for Roy Keane

Aidan is the third child of football legend Roy Keane and his wife, Theresa. They also share daughters Shannon, Caragh, Leah and Alanna.

Last year, Roy welcomed two more grandchildren into the family, and with Aidan's new arrival, the Cork native is currently a grandad of five. His daughter Leah, who is married to Southampton defender and England international Taylor Harwood-Bellis, had her first baby, a little girl called Iris, last December. In April, he shared on social media that he had become a grandad again with the arrival of his third grandson, writing at the time: "My new grandson, big baby."
