Ross Noble Lists Mornington Peninsula Home for $3.6M

Comedian Ross Noble has listed his idyllic Mornington Peninsula home as his family prepares to relocate back to the United Kingdom. The 49-year-old English-born comic is selling his family's property in Mount Eliza, with a price guide between $3.3 million and $3.6 million.

Property Features

Set on an expansive 4,180 square metres, the property boasts a tennis and pétanque court, an in-ground pool, rolling lawns, and expansive gardens. The house is designed to maximise its tranquil surroundings, featuring walls of glazing and classic French doors. Inside, there is a formal lounge area with a stone fireplace, spacious open-plan living and dining areas, a well-appointed kitchen, and a separate rumpus room with a built-in bar that opens onto an outdoor kitchen and BBQ deck.

The main bedroom offers peaceful poolside views, while four of the five additional bedrooms come with their own ensuites.

Market Interest

Listing agent Candice Blanch from Homes & Acreage told Domain that there has been considerable interest in the property due to the renovations completed by the Nobles. "We've only been on for a week and we've had really good numbers through the first open home," she said. "Realistically, the main thing is just how stunningly it's been renovated."

Reason for Move

Speaking to the Herald Sun, Ross's wife Fran revealed that the family is moving back to the UK for their daughters' – Elfie and Willow – education. "Our oldest is finishing year 12 this year and she wants to do uni in England, and the little one wants to go back, too," she said. "We always said we'd move back there when we retired. But it's just come a bit earlier."

Back in 2022, Ross sold another Mornington Peninsula property – an idyllic acreage in Tuerong – for $3.4 million. Ross and Fran decided to sell their three-bedroom property due to commitments overseas, which had forced the couple to split their family time between Australia and the UK.

Property History

According to CoreLogic records, the Nobles bought the property for $2.9 million in July 2019. The vast acreage includes a dam with an island and bridge, ten paddocks, a chicken house, and a shed. The main house features a contemporary living room with a combustion fireplace, two bathrooms, an office, and a carport.

Ross also offloaded a third Peninsula property in 2019, prior to moving to the acreage. According to public records, the actor's stunning family home in Mount Eliza was purchased for $2.725 million. After it failed to sell during its first month on the market, the family appeared to accept a lower offer than their original listed price of $2.85 million.

The family also lost a house in St Andrews, north-east of Melbourne, in the Black Saturday bushfires of 2009. After their home burnt down, Ross and his family moved back to England, returning to Australia in 2017.
