Rochelle Humes Addresses Frankie Bridge Feud Rumours and Rules Out Saturdays Reunion
Rochelle Humes on Frankie Bridge Feud and Saturdays Reunion

Rochelle Humes has denied long-standing rumours of a feud with her Saturdays bandmate Frankie Bridge, insisting the pair are close and in regular contact. She has also ruled out a reunion of the group, which was active from 2007 until 2014.

Rumours Addressed

Speaking about the speculation, Rochelle, 37, said: "We have the Saturdays WhatsApp group. But actually, me and Frankie speak all the time. It's so funny that this rumour became such a thing." She added, speaking to The Sun: "Listen, we just laughed about it, because it’s so far from the truth."

Rochelle, who has built a presenting career with guest-hosting slots on This Morning, also said her children have a good relationship with Loose Women star Frankie, also 37. The pair first found fame together as teenagers in S Club Juniors before joining The Saturdays alongside Mollie King, Vanessa White and Una Healey.

Documentary Snub and Reunion Prospects

Rochelle claimed that she and the rest of The Saturdays were not asked to take part in the BBC documentary Girlbands Forever, which aired towards the end of last year and featured stars from pop groups of the 1990s and 2000s. She joked it was "probably because we didn't have a big row" at the height of their fame.

On the possibility of a reunion, Rochelle said: "At the moment, it’s hard enough to get dinner in with all of us. But we all have so much respect for The Saturdays. The Saturdays Megamix is an actual banger, and I’ve got so much love for all of it, so I’ll never say never, because at one point it might happen – just not yet."

Bandmates' Previous Comments

Frankie, who has two children with former footballer Wayne Bridge, has previously said she feels "too old" to be a pop star and told OK! Magazine about another rumoured reunion: "I don’t think it will happen."

Bandmate Una has previously claimed she has made various attempts to get the group back together but struggled to get the others to commit. She told Patrick Kielty Live: "They all went very quiet on me. I put it out there to them [in their WhatsApp group chat], when Girls Aloud were back together [in 2023], I was like, ‘we should be doing it again’. There was just silence. I thought to myself, ‘tumbleweed’. So I sent a gif of tumbleweed into the group chat and there were still tumbleweeds. They didn’t even do a little laughing emoji back. That was a bit, ‘ouch’. You know?"
