Rav Wilding Splits from Co-Star Girlfriend After Two Years

Morning Live star Rav Wilding has split from his co-star girlfriend Rebecca Mason after two years together, according to a source close to the couple. The 48-year-old presenter began dating Mason in 2024, just months after separating from his wife of more than a decade, Jill Morgan.

Relationship Timeline

Wilding and Mason first met on the set of the BBC documentary series Ill Gotten Gains in 2020, where Wilding served as host and Mason appeared as herself, a police detective specializing in online romance fraud and scams. At the time, Wilding was still married to Morgan, who was pregnant with their daughter Poppy. The couple announced their separation after 12 years together in 2023, and Wilding's romance with Mason began shortly thereafter.

Split Details

A source told The Sun: “Rav and Rebecca decided to amicably end their relationship a little while ago. There’s no bad blood and they kept things civil, things had just run their course and they felt it was the right decision.” The source added that the pair are “keeping things professional at work” and that colleagues are “sad to see them split.”

Social media activity has fueled the split rumors: pictures of Mason no longer appear on Wilding's Instagram, though he still follows her. Mason's Instagram account is set to private.

Wilding's Previous Relationships

Wilding has had several high-profile relationships. He became engaged to Top Gear producer Jill Morgan in 2012, just seven months after they started dating, and they married in Barbados in May 2017. Prior to that, he dated Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton, but the pair split after a public row in 2011. At the time of his separation from Morgan, Wilding wrote a short statement confirming the split and emphasizing their focus on co-parenting their daughter.

Wilding's Health Disclosure

Wilding has also made headlines for his candid discussion of his neurodivergence. On Morning Live, he revealed that he is dyslexic, dyspraxic, and was diagnosed as autistic by Simon Baron-Cohen in a film broadcast on the subject. Speaking to the Press Association, Wilding explained: “I've got this thing called dyspraxia, so I have a hand-eye co-ordination disorder. I'm dyslexic as well, but dyspraxia is kind of like dyslexia with your hands.” He added: “My brain just does not work that way. And the only way I can do anything is if I can see it, visualise it, literally see it with my eyes, what I am supposed to do... It's just the way my brain works. It was kind of tricky.”

The Mirror has reached out to representatives for Wilding and Mason for comment.
