Piers Morgan has confirmed that Donald Trump remains his friend after nearly 20 years, despite making clear he "vehemently disagrees" with the US President over the Iran and Ukraine wars.
The two have been friends for almost two decades, with Mr Morgan interviewing Mr Trump on his 'Piers Morgan Uncensored' show in 2022.
Public Attacks on Zelensky
In recent days, the US President has launched furious public attacks against Volodymyr Zelensky while attempting to persuade him and Vladimir Putin to strike a peace deal on the Russia-Ukraine war.
Mr Trump has also sent several warnings to Iran over recent months at times when US strikes on Iranian targets have intensified and World War 3 fears have soared.
Reaction to Witkoff Remarks
Earlier today, Mr Morgan reacted with a vomiting emoji on X to a clip showing Mr Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff praising Putin as a "humanitarian" during talks in St Petersburg.
Mr Morgan was then asked by an X user in reaction to that clip: "Piers, do you still consider Donald Trump to be your friend?"
He replied: "Yes.. as he has been for nearly 20 years. But I vehemently disagree with him about the Iran and Ukraine wars."
