Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy Reveal Major Life Change

Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy have announced a significant change in their lives, revealing plans to move house after 11 years in search of a 'new chapter' that includes growing their own vegetables and rearing animals.

A New Adventure for the Family

The couple, who have four children together, shared their decision on the latest episode of their podcast, The Therapy Crouch. Abbey Clancy, 40, explained that the move is driven by a desire for change and new experiences. 'We have decided to move house because we are looking for a new chapter, and we would like to live our dream of getting some land and having some animals,' she said.

She added: 'Change is great. It's new memories and it's an adventure. It's easy to get stuck into a routine. I think it's now or never. We decided to do it because the kids are still young enough to enjoy a new house. And I think I would just like to teach them new skills, like growing our own veg and taking care of animals and collecting the eggs in the morning.'

Peter Crouch's Excitement

Peter Crouch, 45, echoed his wife's enthusiasm, stating: 'We've been there almost 11 years, and, you know, our kids have grown up there, and we've got fantastic memories and stuff, but we do want a new chapter. And I think I'm all for it, I'm ready for it as well. Yeah, I'm excited by it.'

The former footballer joked that in an ideal world, Abbey would want the new property to be like a compound with a bunker so they never have to leave. However, Abbey has more practical ideas for their dream home, including a south-facing garden, a big airing cupboard, and dedicated storage for bedding and towels in every room.

A Long-Awaited Decision

The couple currently reside in Surrey with their children: Sophia Ruby, Liberty Rose, Johnny, and Jack. Last August, Crouch revealed on the podcast that Abbey had given him an ultimatum to either renovate the house or move, leading to some minor changes. But it seems those adjustments were not enough, and they are now ready to find a property with more outdoor space.

Abbey believes the move will be beneficial for the children, as they are still young enough to adapt to the change. The family is looking forward to this new chapter, embracing the opportunity to create new memories and learn new skills together.
