Abbey Clancy has branded her husband Peter Crouch a 'useless' nurse as she battles a 'shocking' case of the flu. The model and presenter, 39, opened up about her marriage to the former Premier League footballer in an exclusive interview, revealing the couple are in a 'very happy moment' and embracing their 'Western era'.
The couple, who have been together for nearly 20 years and married for 14, recently returned from a skiing trip to Switzerland with friends including Ashley Cole and his wife Sharon Canu. Clancy joked on Instagram that Crouch's skiing skills were so poor he spent 'most of his time on top of another woman' after repeatedly falling on their petite instructor.
Despite the banter, Clancy says their relationship is rock solid. 'We've totally grown together over the years,' she said. 'We’re still in sync. We’ve got the same interests and the same things make us laugh. It’s a really happy time for us at the moment.' She attributes their longevity to evolving together and genuinely enjoying each other's company, except when she's ill.
Clancy also discussed their hit podcast, The Therapy Crouch, which they film at home with family. 'We genuinely forget it’s going out to millions of people,' she said, admitting she often worries about oversharing but values authenticity. The couple have four children: Sophia, 14, Liberty, nine, Johnny, seven, and Jack, five, with Clancy describing herself as the 'bad cop' parent while Crouch plays 'good cop'.
