Little Mix star Perrie Edwards made a surprise appearance on ITV's The Masked Singer on Saturday evening, showcasing her baby bump on the pre-recorded show weeks before giving birth to her second child. The 32-year-old singer filmed the episode late last year while pregnant with daughter Alanis Valentine, who was born earlier this month.
Edwards joined judges Maya Jama, Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross and Davina McCall as a guest panellist, wearing a colourful dress that highlighted her bump. The episode saw Strictly Come Dancing's Anton Du Beke revealed as Arctic Fox and singer Kate Nash unmasked as Monkey Business.
Fans took to social media to praise Edwards, with one writing on X: 'Perrie Edwards looking so radiant on tonight's #MaskedSingerUK!' Another posted: 'Perrie Edwards guest on the panel.' The appearance came just a week after she announced the birth of her daughter on January 17, sharing a black-and-white photograph of the newborn.
Alanis Valentine is Edwards' second child with footballer fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and a little sister for their four-year-old son Axel. The singer announced her pregnancy in September 2025 with a photo of Axel kissing her bump. Her birth announcement was flooded with congratulations from former Little Mix bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall, as well as other celebrities.
Edwards, who got engaged to Oxlade-Chamberlain in June 2022, previously revealed she suffered two heartbreaking miscarriages, including one at 24 weeks, before the birth of her daughter. She described the experience as 'out of body' on a podcast, saying she was 'distraught'.
