The rift between David and Victoria Beckham and their eldest son, Brooklyn, appears to be widening, with Brooklyn's wife Nicola Peltz recently removing all traces of her in-laws from her social media. This follows Cruz Beckham's revelation late last year that his older brother had blocked the entire family on social media, and Brooklyn being left out of his father's 2025 round-up.
If the feud continues, it could have implications for the Beckham family fortune, which according to The Sunday Times Rich List stands at £500 million in 2025. This includes Victoria's £34 million collection of engagement rings and David's extensive watch collection, which features a one-of-a-kind diamond-encrusted Tudor Black Bay Chrono made bespoke for him as brand ambassador.
Watch valuation expert Arif Mughal of Luxe Watches explains that such unique timepieces are often considered heirlooms. 'Historically, heirlooms were often passed to the oldest child simply because they were seen as the keeper of the family's story,' he said. However, with Brooklyn estranged, David's bespoke watch could go to one of his younger children.
Brooklyn already owns several watches, including a Steve McQueen Rolex Submariner given at 18, and a rose-gold Patek Philippe Nautilus worth £120,000 from his father for his 21st birthday. He told Esquire in 2021 that the Patek was his favourite and he wore it daily. Despite this, Brooklyn's personal net worth is estimated at £7.4 million, while Nicola's is around £37 million, making them unlikely to rely on inheritance.
