Paris Jackson made a striking appearance at Spotify's 2026 Best New Artist Party in West Hollywood on Thursday, showcasing a bold fashion choice that captured attention on the red carpet.

Red Carpet Fashion Statements

The 27-year-old musician arrived at The Lot at Formosa venue wearing a leggy black minidress that featured semi-sheer long sleeves and revealed her midriff. She completed the look with towering Christian Louboutin strappy heels and carried a small box clutch bag, creating a sophisticated yet daring ensemble for the prestigious music industry event.

Celebrity Couple Appearance

Jackson was joined by fellow musicians Yungblud, 28, and his girlfriend Jesse Jo Stark, 34, who both opted for all-black ensembles. The couple appeared deeply connected as they posed for photographs hand-in-hand, demonstrating the strength of their rekindled relationship.

Jesse Jo Stark, who is Cher's goddaughter, looked stylish in a leather corset-style top paired with a matching wrap-around skirt. Yungblud chose a distinctive leather dungaree set with a muscle tank top layered underneath, accessorising his outfit with a pair of sunglasses.

Relationship Background

The couple's appearance together follows their reconciliation last year after initially meeting in 2020. They confirmed they were back together in August 2025 following a previous separation in March of that same year.

In November last year, Stark opened up about their relationship dynamics, stating: 'I feel like I've been in hiding. We are forever growing lovers and best friends. There's no end with us.'

Yungblud addressed the split earlier this year, taking responsibility for the relationship challenges: 'It was a "me" problem. Everything is a "me" problem. I was drowning, and I couldn't figure out why. I've literally got a tattoo of her under my arm... I don't know what it is. We needed space, we needed time, and she's giving me that, because she truly gets me. I needed to look at myself in the mirror, on my own for a while.'

Spotify's Annual Celebration

The Spotify event, which traditionally takes place ahead of the Grammy Awards, serves to honour the year's most promising rising stars in the music industry. This year's honorees included an impressive roster of emerging talent:

  • Addison Rae
  • Alex Warren
  • KATSEYE
  • Leon Thomas
  • Lola Young
  • Olivia Dean
  • Sombr
  • The Marías

Additional Attendee Highlights

Benson Boone, one of 2025's biggest rising stars, arrived at the event and humorously held up a name card while posing for photographs on the red carpet. Other notable artists in attendance included Blu De Tiger, who wore a mesh jumpsuit, and German musician and DJ horsegiirL (performing as Stella Stallion), who made an impression in a cape-style satin gown.

Addison Rae, one of the 2026 honorees, looked incredible in a PVC dress, while Adela turned heads in a heavily beaded gown with see-through sections and later changed into a fitted leather dress with studded heels.

Event Significance

Joe Hadley, Spotify's global head of music partnerships and audience, spoke to Billboard ahead of the event about its importance: 'This event has been through so many iterations. Different formats, different constraints, different realities, but the heart of it has always stayed the same. It's about showing up for artists at a pivotal moment in their careers.'

He added: 'To return this year with a full, in-person celebration during music's biggest week feels like a reflection of that resilience... Being back together in the room, celebrating this next generation of artists in a big way, feels really special.'

The party served as both a celebration of emerging musical talent and a showcase of celebrity fashion, bringing together established artists and rising stars for an evening of recognition and networking within the music industry.
