Pam Grier did not shy away from graphic details when discussing her sex life in her 70s during a recent interview. The 76-year-old actress surprised Julia Louis-Dreyfus by revealing that she now experiences orgasms that feel like they last 'for three days' on the latest episode of the Veep star's podcast Wiser Than Me, released on Wednesday.
The Jackie Brown star, who previously spoke warmly about her chemistry with former screen partner Snoop Dogg, brought up the topic of sexual pleasure seemingly unprompted after Louis-Dreyfus, 65, innocently asked, 'Do you feel young?'
'Yes, I do, because when you're young, you can have three, four, five orgasms in an hour,' Grier replied. 'But when you get my age, you have one orgasm, it'll last three days.'
Louis-Dreyfus, clearly taken aback, sputtered, 'What are you talking about? Like, what are you doing down there to get a three-day orgasm? I need details.'
Grier laughed and teased, 'You don't have to do anything, but when it happens, I just wanna tell you, you just be prepared. It's gonna be three whole days.' She added that she wished she could have experienced such pleasure earlier in life.
'If I could have had that when I was younger, I would have had a better life and better boyfriends, OK,' Grier continued. She alluded to a list of famous exes, including NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, comedians Richard Pryor and Freddie Prinze, and Soul Train host Don Cornelius. Despite these high-profile relationships, she never married.
Grier felt so youthful that she claimed she was unsure about turning 77 on her birthday, May 26. 'I don't know, nor do I care,' she said of her age, adding defiantly, 'If I wake up breathing, I'm gonna have a good day.'
In August 2025, Grier opened up about her love life on the Allison Interviews podcast, admitting she started dating a man three years earlier who 'came back from another part of the world to find' her. 'I met my person three years ago. Through a crowd of people, the crowd opened up, and there he was,' she confessed. 'I never thought I would, you know? You hear about when people find their person, that it's a warm, fuzzy feeling. I can't believe it happened now, when I've got things to do. Don't mess up my plans,' she said with a laugh.
Grier added that she would be happy to 'just get an hour with this person, a day...' She noted, 'I'm lucky to have it, because some of my friends never, ever had it. But they married, they had children, because society said so.' Even after finding new love, Grier admitted she was still 'horny as f***.'
