Olivia Attwood's Valentine's Day Heartbreak After Split from Husband Bradley Dack
The former Love Islander Olivia Attwood has opened up about her Valentine's Day plans following a heartbreaking few weeks in her personal life. In the run-up to the romantic date, Olivia said she "hates" Valentine's Day and would prefer to be "left alone" after splitting from her husband, footballer Bradley Dack.
Celebrity Split and Personal Struggles
The presenter, who rose to fame after appearing on Love Island, split from the Gillingham FC footballer after almost two and a half years of marriage. They tied the knot in 2023, but by 2026, they are no longer an item. A source previously said Olivia and Bradley's relationship was past the point of repair after the footballer "crossed the line," with the breach of trust being the final straw.
Speaking on her podcast, The Sunday Roast Podcast, with co-host Pete Wicks, the pair reflected on their worst Valentine's Day memories and their plans ahead of this weekend. Olivia said, "I hate Valentine's Day and it's not just because of recent events. I've never liked it. I always say just get me a present." Pete chimed in, "All the posts on social media just make you hate it even more." Olivia responded, "Oh! I forgot about social media, here come all the unhappy people you know." She added, "I just want flowers and a gift and to be left alone. That's my perfect Valentine's Day."
Defiant Message and Moving On
Despite previously admitting to crying herself to sleep, Olivia has shared a defiant message as she moves on with her life. The newly single star reposted a quote that read, "If you're worried about the cost of going for it you should see the price of staying exactly where you are." Olivia took to social media for the first time following their split, sharing a post on Instagram where she expressed her vulnerability.
She said, "I keep opening Instagram to post but I don't know what to say or do? lol Vulnerability is not my bag!!! Especially on social media, it feels very much like bleeding in shark infested waters. I cry myself to sleep, then business as normal when the alarm goes off at 5am and it has been like that for a long time. But also so much change in such a short amount of time (you know I hate that) (Taurus). I never expected to be moving into this apartment alone. And I'm in over my depth for sure. I want to be happy. I want Brad to be happy. Just one day at a time. For both of us. & anyone else who needs to read this."
Background and Relationship History
Olivia and Bradley had initially met over 10 years ago before Olivia appeared on Love Island. After getting together, the pair later split after Olivia discovered Bradley had cheated early in their relationship. However, they worked things out, and Bradley went on to propose in 2019. Their dream pad had his-and-hers walk-in wardrobes, a swimming pool, and sprawling gardens for their rescue dogs Lola and Stitch. When she moved out in December, Olivia shared an emotional video, declaring, "Next chapter pending."
Olivia previously showed off her new London apartment, having moved out of the plush £1 million home she once shared with Bradley. This move marks a significant change in her life as she navigates this difficult period. The split has been a source of heartbreak for Olivia, who is trying to process it all while maintaining a public persona.
