Nick Viall and Natalie Joy Announce Twin Girls After Emotional Journey
Reality television star Nick Viall and his wife Natalie Joy are preparing for a full household as they eagerly anticipate the arrival of twin baby girls. The couple, who are already parents to two-year-old daughter River Rose, shared their exciting news through a heartfelt Instagram post that captured a classic gender reveal moment.
A Pink Explosion of Joy
In the emotional video, Viall, aged 45, and Joy, aged 27, shared a tender kiss before popping two massive balloons that unleashed a vibrant explosion of pink confetti and balloons. This dramatic reveal confirmed that the twins are both girls, meaning the couple will soon be raising three daughters together. Their toddler, River Rose, was present for the special announcement, clad in an adorable sweater reading 'Big Sis' as she learned about her future siblings.
Joy captioned the video with overwhelming emotion, writing: 'and the twins are… a dream!!!!!' accompanied by four sob emojis. The post quickly garnered attention from fans and followers, celebrating this significant milestone for the family.
Overcoming Heartbreak and Loss
This happy update arrives just weeks after the couple publicly announced Joy's pregnancy, following what they described as a devastating journey to expand their family. In their initial announcement, they referred to the twins as their 'rainbow babies', a term used for children born after a miscarriage, highlighting the emotional challenges they have faced.
The past year proved particularly difficult for Viall and Joy, as Joy suffered three miscarriages in 2025. Viall openly discussed this heartbreak on his popular podcast, The Viall Files, in August 2025, where he emotionally revealed: 'Sadly, Natalie experienced another miscarriage. It is her third this year, our third this year... There's no really good way to say it, it f**king sucks.' He noted that Joy was at home resting and healing both physically and emotionally during that trying time.
A Love Story Rooted in Family
Viall, who rose to fame on The Bachelor and now hosts a successful podcast, married Joy on her family's 300-acre farm in Georgia in 2024 after four years together. The wedding was a special event, with Viall telling People magazine: 'It's a place that has always been very special to Natalie. When I first visited, I was struck by its expansive landscape and vibrant colors.' The celebration included 170 guests, such as JoJo Siwa and several Bachelor Nation alumni, with their daughter River Rose, then just two months old, in attendance.
Reflecting on parenthood, Joy shared: 'River made me fall even more in love with Nick. I didn't even think that was possible, but it just makes you close. You just see this human that's both of us. And Nick is so great about everything with her.' This deep bond has undoubtedly helped the couple navigate their recent struggles.
Looking Forward with Hope
Now, six months after their last miscarriage, Viall and Joy are embracing this new chapter with optimism and joy. Earlier this month, as they announced the pregnancy, Joy shared another bump photo on her Instagram Stories, showing her in a sheer white top with her hand gently placed on her growing abdomen, captioned: 'there they are!!!!!'
The couple's journey from heartbreak to happiness serves as an inspiring testament to resilience and love. As they prepare to welcome their twin girls, fans and well-wishers continue to celebrate this beautiful expansion of their family.
