Alvaro Morata and his wife Alice Campello have once again called off their divorce plans, marking the second time the couple has reconciled. The 33-year-old Spain striker and the 31-year-old Italian model and influencer had announced their separation in August last year, shortly after Spain's Euro 2024 victory, citing communication difficulties. They briefly reunited in January but split again soon after.
Reunion at Bad Bunny Concert
The couple, who have four children together—twins Alessandro and Leonardo, seven, Edoardo, five, and Bella, three—were spotted together at a Bad Bunny concert at Atletico Madrid's Metropolitano Stadium over the weekend. Spanish journalist Javi Hoyos reported that they have decided to give their relationship another chance, and sources suggest they have been back together for some time.
Campello posted on TikTok: "I really enjoy seeing your kindness, your gentleness, and your ability to understand others. I'm sure you'll go even further, because when things are done with respect, affection, and courtesy, you always win. And thank you also for all the messages of support and love from those who are happy for us."
Previous Split and Rumors
During their breakup, Spanish media reported that Morata had an affair with sports management expert Elena Sirigu. Morata denied these claims, stating: "No special friend or anything like that, I'm not interested in that right now. The day I have a special friend, I'll walk around with her normally and you'll see. People who claim there are third parties involved in a separation like this, especially with children involved, simply have no heart."
Campello also defended Sirigu, writing on social media: "Elena is a family friend whom I've known for years, and I can say with absolute certainty that she is not that kind of person and has never done anything she's been accused of. She called me crying because of everything that's been said about her, and she doesn't deserve to be labelled a 'family wrecker.'"
Morata had previously spoken about the pain of the separation, telling Alexia Rivas of the program Fiesta: "We are suffering because we are two people who love each other, but we don't understand each other. Alice isn't having a worse time than me because many people say she's the one who's hurting. I want to make it clear that we're both hurting, it's not that she's bitter, we're both hurting."
