Molly-Mae Hague pays for woman's petrol after card decline

A woman was left in tears when Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague paid for her petrol after her card declined. Timney Moy Mills was distraught after filling her car to the max before being told her card had been rejected.

The 33-year-old was scrambling on the phone for a relative to come to her aid when the ex-Love Islander and influencer stepped in. The 27-year-old paid for the fuel without a thought, leaving Timney in tears.

Stranded at the counter

Timney, from Kent, said: “I was stressed. I felt sick as they wouldn’t accept a payment over the phone from my family. I had the wrong card and was miles from home.”

She was in Manchester visiting a family member on 31 Oct. Standing at the counter with her screaming child, she did not know what to do until Molly-Mae stepped in. Timney added: “My son was screaming. When she stepped in, I was in tears. So grateful. I couldn’t believe my luck.”

Kindness follows kindness

According to the mother, the influencer would not take any money back from her after saving her morning. Timney took to social media to share the act, with the clip racking up over 883,000 views.

While many would put this down to a random act of kindness, she believes it was a gift from God. Timney said: “I asked to bank transfer her something or anything at all, but she would not accept. I am a holy person, and I believe God put her there for me. Also, I help people all the time, and I believe kindness follows kindness. I don’t mean financially, just in general.”
