The Duchess of Sussex has added new items to her lifestyle brand's "Holiday Collection", including a teapot priced at 98 US dollars (£73), just two days after it emerged that Prince Harry wants to reconcile with his family.

The latest additions to Meghan's As Ever brand feature a "Signature Two-Wick Holiday Candle" costing 98 US dollars (£73) and a 65 dollar (£48) tub of chocolate-covered popcorn. These products form "chapter two" of the festive range, with a post on the brand's Instagram page saying it offers "something for everyone on your list".

In a video accompanying the launch, Meghan is shown lighting a candle, filling a champagne glass, and arranging chocolate bars on plates at a dining table.

Harry's comments on family reconciliation

The launch comes days after her husband admitted he wants his disagreements with Prince William and King Charles to "work out". In an interview with GQ magazine, Harry was asked whether he grieves his "complicated" relationship with his father and brother.

Harry replied: "Yeah, yes, of course, from a family perspective, again another massively relatable issue for so many people." He added that sibling disagreements and broken relationships between children and parents "continues to come up with me the whole time by people that I speak to, so I know how relatable it is."

He also said: "Some people don't want it to work out – I want it to work out." Harry added: "Of course I do. With everything else that's going on in the world, the most important thing is to reconcile – that's the key point."

Spokesperson's clarification

A Sussex spokesperson later confirmed that Harry's comments about others not wanting things to work out were "absolutely not intended as a swipe at his brother or any other member of his family".

Asked if he thought he could repair "this wound", Harry told GQ: "Yeah of course, I think every wound… look, scars stick around forever but… what your perception is and what your mindset is to these things that have happened, certainly letting go of the past, that's something that I would encourage everybody to do."

He concluded: "But yeah, for me, there's enough drama in the world and enough drama in people's lives than to continue with issues with family."
