Former Apprentice star Luisa Zissman, who moved to Dubai claiming the UK was 'unsafe', has been documenting her family's experience as Iranian air strikes hit the Palm Jumeirah. In a social media update, she shared that they were forced to retreat indoors after hearing explosions while attempting to visit a park.
Zissman posted a photo of homemade bread rolls, explaining: 'We got itchy feet and went to take them to the park and literally as we went to step foot out the door we heard two massive explosions that shook the house, we retreated and then heard another two. So now movie time in the basement.' She expressed faith in UAE defence forces to keep them safe.
The reality star, who relocated with her husband Andrew Collins and two of her three children, showed followers their basement setup with emergency supplies including a dog pen, blanket, and water. Her eldest daughter remained in the UK at boarding school, while her horses were transported to Dubai at an estimated cost of £25,000 each.
Zissman had previously stated she moved because she felt unsafe in the UK, saying: 'Yep unfortunately, very sad have always loved the UK but looking forward to not being cold & being able to walk alone at night safely.' The family now faces the surreal reality of seeking shelter from missile strikes in their adopted home.
