Liam Gallagher: Neighbors Bake Me Scones in Cotswolds

Liam Gallagher has given fans a wholesome insight into his new quieter life in the Cotswolds, where his neighbors bake him scones. The 53-year-old Oasis legend, known for his rock 'n' roll antics, moved to the countryside last year after buying the former home of Arsenal and England footballer Tony Adams for £4.25 million.

Neighbors Treat Gallagher to Homemade Baked Goods

In an exchange with fans on X, the Wonderwall singer revealed how his new neighbors have welcomed him. When a fan asked, 'Liam how are the Cotwolds people treating you, any friendly neighbours?' Gallagher replied: 'They’re absolutely incredible, they have not stopped baking me cakes and scones.'

The star now counts Simon Cowell, the Beckhams, and Kate Moss as neighbors, all owning multimillion-pound properties in the exclusive area. Gallagher lives in the five-acre manor house with fiancée Debbie Gwyther, 43, and their dog Buttons.

From Rock Star to Country Gentleman

Gallagher purchased the property after raking in millions from his Oasis Live '25 world tour. A source told The Sun: 'Liam loves the countryside and the house is the perfect retreat following the mammoth Oasis tour. Liam is also very fond of his rescue dog Buttons so wanted to find a home with plenty of outdoor space.'

The move marks a significant lifestyle change for the singer, who previously lived it up in London and was known for his past drug use and partying with fellow music icons like Kate Moss.

Gallagher Engages with Fans on Social Media

During his X exchange, Gallagher fielded various questions. When asked about hangover advice, he replied: 'Don't drink.' He also dismissed comparisons to other bands, calling a fan 'CUCKOO' for suggesting The Libertines and The Smiths are better than Oasis.

Gallagher hinted he personally runs his own X account, responding to a fan's compliment: 'Exactly I'm better than all those stuck up f**k wits.'

Health Kick and Oasis Tour

Ahead of the 2025 Oasis world tour, Gallagher gave up alcohol and cigarettes to protect his vocals. After the tour, he told fans: 'I had a few beers wasn't feeling it I'm back on the righteous path free from temptation.' One fan praised his healthy lifestyle, and Gallagher replied: 'Oasis saved my life it's about time I sorted my nappa out I know how much this means to people so stopping drinking and smoking and snorting Gary baldies are sacrifices that needed to be made thems the rules MCFC.'
