Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews has finally been released from Dubai's notorious Al Awir prison after spending a month behind bars. Sources confirm he paid a £140,000 fine for his release.
Katie, 48, had been desperately trying to get her husband Lee, 43, out of jail since learning he was imprisoned on what initially appeared to be espionage charges but later emerged as a private civil matter.
According to pals, Lee has now been set free by Dubai authorities, with a source close to Katie confirming: "Lee is out."
The drama began when Lee failed to show up for a Good Morning Britain interview, claiming he couldn't board his flight to the UK, before going silent for two weeks and leaving Katie fearing he'd been kidnapped.
While locked up, Lee reportedly bragged to fellow inmates about his showbiz connections and claimed Katie was sending him cash - contradicting her previous insistence she wouldn't give him "a penny" to get out.
Katie flew to Dubai to try securing his release through courts and police stations but returned to Gatwick without her husband - and without her wedding ring, sparking divorce rumours.
Despite pals urging her to dump Lee and move on, Katie has declared she still loves him, though the future of their marriage remains uncertain.
