Lee Andrews, the husband of Katie Price, is reportedly facing another legal battle in Dubai, just weeks after his release from Al Awir prison. According to court documents obtained by The Sun, Andrews is named as the lead defendant in a property dispute involving three parties, with plaintiff Alexander Keya bringing the case to Dubai Court.
Details of the Property Dispute
The court has ordered an accounting expert to conduct a financial evaluation of the situation, with the review ordered on July 15 last year. A further hearing was planned for later that month. The exact allegations against Andrews remain unclear due to ongoing proceedings, and no final judgment has been made as of the time of writing.
Recent Release from Prison
Andrews, 43, was released from Dubai's Al Awir prison earlier this month after being detained on fraud allegations. He has since made bold claims about his time inside, including losing 20lbs while incarcerated, which he shared in a gym clip. He also hinted at a permanent return to the UK, despite being under a travel ban that prevents him from leaving the UAE.
Ongoing Legal and Financial Pressures
Andrews still faces the possibility of being returned to prison if he fails to repay thousands of Dirhams to the court over the fraud allegations. In an attempt to raise funds, he has joined the video message service Cameo. Despite his legal troubles, Andrews stated, "I will be coming to the UK, despite what everyone's saying. I'm on my way soon, so I'll be giving Dubai up a little bit."
