Love Island star Lauren Wood has made a startling revelation, disclosing that she was 'still very much in a relationship' with her ex-partner Harrison Solomon right up until he secretly entered the All Stars villa. Despite the couple publicly announcing their split in November 2025, Lauren has now shared that their communication continued 'all day every day,' painting a picture of a relationship that never truly ended.
The Hidden Continuation of a Relationship
Speaking candidly to Joe Baggs on the Not My Bagg podcast, Lauren explained the complex nature of their separation. She revealed that their original breakup was intended as a period to 'work on themselves' with the clear understanding that they would eventually reunite and build a 'future together.' This arrangement created what Lauren describes as an ongoing relationship in everything but physical proximity.
A Painful Sense of Betrayal
'I feel like I'm having to go through a break up all over again because really nothing changed between me and him apart from we weren't spending loads of time together in person, that's the only difference,' Lauren expressed emotionally. 'We were still very much together and I would act how a relationship would act in communication. I actually thought we were stronger than we had ever been. Now I feel I'm having to deal with a sudden break up again but getting no closure.'
The Moment of Realization
Lauren described the chilling moment she began to suspect Harrison might have entered the All Stars villa. 'We spoke all day every day, I replied to his message and he never responded,' she recalled. 'I rang him Sunday afternoon because I never heard from him all day so I was starting to panic. I rang him at 4pm in the afternoon and that's when I thought "Oh no, surely not there must be another reason."'
The situation became increasingly clear when, 'a day later after I saw something, I called again and his phone didn't go through.' This sequence of events confirmed her worst fears about Harrison's whereabouts and intentions.
Broken Promises and Secret Plans
What makes the situation particularly painful for Lauren is the explicit agreement she and Harrison had made regarding the All Stars series. 'We both agreed it wouldn't be the right thing to do and it would break either of our hearts if one of us go on there and that was just the agreement we had,' she explained.
Lauren elaborated on their conversations about the possibility: 'We had multiple conversations, time and time again. There was not much speculation about me going on but there was a lot about him going on. So every time it would come up on TikTok I would ask him and he would be like "Loz, I promise you I'm not going on there."'
The Ultimate Betrayal of Trust
The reality star expressed her complete shock at Harrison's actions, particularly given their mutual understanding. 'Obviously if in a year's time we wasn't back together, then yeah fair enough go and do it. But we promised each other we would not do that and that was the case right up until he went.'
Perhaps most heartbreaking for Lauren was her unwavering trust in Harrison's assurances. 'The hard part is, I actually believed him. I had his back through it all and said he would never do that to me. Up until two weeks ago I was saying "he wouldn't do that, no way." I said to him I'm so happy you proved everyone wrong and he let me sit there and say that knowing he was going on.'
This revelation adds a new layer of complexity to the All Stars narrative, showing how real-world relationships can become entangled with reality television dynamics in unexpected and painful ways. Lauren's story highlights the emotional toll when private understandings collide with public personas and television opportunities.
