The Celebrity Traitors star King Kenny has released a new single titled Don't Let Me Down, in which he sings about "killing in plain sight." The 29-year-old content creator and former boxer dropped the track on Friday after teasing a clip during a livestream.
References to His Time on the Show
In the song, Kenny appears to reference his experience on the BBC series after being recruited by Maya Jama and James Acaster to become a traitor. Recent episodes showed the trio tasked with killing in plain sight by spraying perfume and making one of the faithfuls inhale the "poison" by inducing a yawn.
It was revealed during Thursday's episode that EastEnders star Ross Kemp fell victim to their trap. Kenny sings: "Through the night you had my back until the morning. Murdering plain sight it's me and you they're calling. I've been running around while I been scheming. So don't be leaving me for no-one else cause I can't do this by myself."
Cliffhanger and Upcoming Revelations
Thursday's episode ended on a cliffhanger after the trio debated who to kill among comedian Romesh Ranganathan, actor Bash Croft, and comedian Miranda Hart. Kenny signed away his first murder, which will be revealed to audiences during Friday night's episode.
The former boxer, whose real name is Kenny Oghenovo Ojuederie, teased a clip on his Instagram story and said: "I've been grafting in the back."
Background and Career
Kenny appears to be sitting in a grand dining room on the single's cover art. An accompanying music video is also expected to be released on Friday.
Kenny, also known as KingKennyTv, is a member of the YouTube collective Beta Squad, alongside Chunkz (Amin Mohammed) and Niko Omilana. He launched his boxing career in 2022 and creates a mix of content including travel, comedy, and group challenges.
