Khloe Kardashian has revealed that she has been celibate for the past four years. The reality star, 42, was initially married to Lamar Odom from 2009 until 2016. She is mum to True, eight, as well as four-year-old Tatum with ex-partner Tristan Thompson.
Khloe split from NBA star Tristan in 2021 following an infidelity scandal which revealed that he had fathered a child with Maralee Nichols whilst they were together. During a conversation with Strictly Come Dancing star Chris Appleton, who is best known as her sister Kim's hairdresser, she admitted it has been several years since she has been intimate with anyone.
Revealing conversation on The Kardashians
In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Chris asks Khloe on a phone call: "How long has it been? Just tell me you’ve had sex." Khloe then said: "Nope. December four years. Chris Appleton, he literally gets stunned every time he hears that I am still not sexually active. It’s crazy!"
Kim then chimed in with: "After like seven months I’ll recycle," but Khloe shot back: "My recycle list is such gutter. No one wants me to recycle my list. They are the bottom of the barrel."
It was then that Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the reality TV family, got involved in the conversation as she said: "Why don’t you sleep with her then?" Chris said that he would, but, in a confessional Khloe revealed why she has decided to stay off the dating scene for such a long period of time.
Why Khloe is staying off the dating scene
She said: "I can't just have sex with people, I don’t want to just do that. I feel so afraid to even consider dating someone right now, where just, like I don’t want to. 2022 It was such a different me, it was a darker me, I was sad. I remember how different my energy was because I was going through it with Tristan."
"I’ve changed so much in a better way and I am really proud of myself for taking my time and healing. We can all recycle old boyfriends and hook up with people that shouldn’t be in our lives, I haven’t done any of that. I feel good about all those things. I think the goal for everyone is to find someone to grow old with but I’m not just going to force that."
