Kelly Osbourne's WhatsApp hacked, warns friends over fake link

Kelly Osbourne has warned her friends after her WhatsApp account was hacked, urging them not to click a fake scholarship voting link sent from her account.

The 41-year-old Osbournes star, who lost her father Ozzy two years ago, took to social media to alert her contacts and provide instructions on what to do if they received any messages from her.

Warning on Instagram

In an Instagram story, she wrote: "I have been hacked on my whatsapp!! If you have received a message from me about voting for someone to get a scholarship it's fake!!! Please do not click on the link it will then hack you and send messages to all your contacts ! Please don't click the link!! For future reference I NEVER send messages asking people to click links !"

The warning comes after Kelly revealed the real reason she has said goodbye to Hollywood after enduring what she described as the "worst year ever".

Life in England

Black Sabbath legend Ozzy died in 2024, leaving wife Sharon and his six children bereaved. Kelly, a mother of one, was particularly affected by the loss and shocked fans when she appeared at the BRITs earlier this year, looking painfully thin.

Kelly, who recently split from Slipknot fiance Sid Wilson, faced abuse from online critics after photos from the awards show went viral. As she continues to grieve her father, Kelly - who admits she was "too thin" but has now put on two stone - wants to be closer to Ozzy's grave. She has also decided she does not want her young son Sidney, four, to have the same childhood she did, choosing to make England their home.

Speaking about her decision to leave Los Angeles, where her brother Jack still lives with his family, she told The Sun: "I want my son to have a different childhood to mine. At first, when he was younger and we were on the road a lot [with Sidney's dad's band Slipknot], I was like: 'This is great. He gets to grow up just like me.' And then I thought: 'No, this actually isn't healthy for him and this is exposing him to too much. I've got to get him home.'"

She added: "We always said that if we ever have a child, he's going to be raised in England."

Concerns and New Life

Kelly also said she is concerned about the gun culture in the US, which has led to a number of school shootings in the country.

Little Sidney, who often appears with his mum on her YouTube videos, now attends the same school Kelly went to in the UK before the Osbournes moved to Los Angeles.

Revealing she is embracing the role of an "English village mum", she shared: "I am so involved in the school. PTA meetings, events, all of it. I never thought I would be this type of mum, but I love all of it. I go to everything school-related."

As she adjusts to village life, Kelly is also adjusting to single life after splitting from DJ Sid earlier this year. The couple have yet to comment officially on the breakup, but after the news broke, Kelly posted a cryptic quote: "I am in love with this sentence: 'Forgive yourself for not knowing earlier what only time could teach'."
