Katie Price has backtracked on her earlier statements regarding a travel ban on her husband, Lee Andrews. Just weeks after claiming he faced a travel ban in Dubai, she now insists there is no such restriction, despite evidence to the contrary.
Andrews, a British national, was due to appear on Good Morning Britain but failed to show, sending a video claiming he was at the airport. However, fans noted inconsistencies in his location, with one pointing out that the airport roof in his video matched Dubai's, not Muscat's as he claimed.
On her podcast four weeks ago, Price told her sister Sophie that a travel ban could be imposed for minor reasons in Dubai, such as an unpaid parking ticket. Yet this week, she dismissed the ban, expressing hope that Andrews would visit the UK next week to 'shut everyone up'.
Fans remain sceptical, with one commenting that if there were no issues, he would have flown already. Another predicted the ban would not simply vanish. Price has since announced that Andrews is taking a break from social media due to 'trolling and media frenzy'.
