Katie Price has been seen reuniting with her husband Lee Andrews after he was released from prison just days ago. The self-proclaimed “billionaire businessman” was set free from Dubai’s notorious Al-Awir prison.
Emotional Reunion in Dubai
After weeks of separation, Katie hastily flew back to Dubai from the UK over the weekend to reunite with her other half. In an emotional reunion on Sunday evening, the former glamour model leapt into Lee's arms as he lifted her up and embraced her.
The couple were seen kissing, cuddling and hand-in-hand as they made their way to Vox Dubai, an open-air rooftop cinema, to watch a World Cup football match.
Questions Put on Hold
Although Katie previously told The Sun she had a raft of questions for her elusive husband upon their reunion, it seemed those could be put on hold as the couple immediately resumed their public displays of affection – with the reconciliation seeming far removed from crisis discussions.
Earlier this month, the mother-of-five stated that she would only divorce the alleged fraudster once she has interrogated him herself. She said: "I cannot just walk away from my marriage without seeing him again."
Background of the Case
The Sun previously reported that Lee had been incarcerated in Al-Awir due to a "private civil matter", thought to be linked to fraud allegations, on May 14. Among the accusations, one of the cases against the self-styled businessman is believed to involve a bounced cheque.
He initially told Katie that he had been arrested on suspicion of espionage. However, authorities in Dubai later confirmed to The Sun that this was not the case.
Over the weekend, Katie verified via Snapchat that she had landed in Dubai ahead of the reunion, where she posted a selfie against the backdrop of the city's skyline.
