Katie Price is off on another holiday to Dubai after her husband Lee Andrews was released from jail last week following over a month behind bars. The former glamour model, 48, was seen heading to the airport just days after returning to the UK without her wedding ring.
Lee Andrews Released from Prison
The businessman was reportedly released from Al Awir prison in Dubai last week, and Katie announced the news on social media. He was seen on FaceTime looking very happy despite his stint in the notorious facility. However, Katie did not share his enthusiasm, saying: "I'm excited – but trust me, I have questions."
Katie's Return to Dubai
Katie has now flown back to Dubai, asking fans on Snapchat to guess where she was. She later shared snaps from a beach bar in the capital, confirming her location. However, she has yet to reveal why she is in Dubai or if she plans to see Lee.
A source said: "He called Kate straight away and she was thrilled – not least because she didn't pay a penny of the £140,000 fine to get him out. Of course she has heard the discourse surrounding him, and she's not stupid. She knows the optics aren't great if she stays with this man. But as any woman who has been love-bombed knows, it's hard to leave when you're being treated so well."
Wedding Ring Speculation
When Katie returned to the UK without her wedding ring after visiting Lee in prison, a source told us she has no plans to ditch her man. "She's only taken her ring off to fly back to create a story. She's not wearing the ring but she's not left him. She knows she has to be seen to be doing the right thing. But she hasn't left him, she's very much into this marriage," the source said.
"Katie needs to show that she's not with him, because she knows how this all looks and what everyone thinks of him. Behind closed doors, she's still very much in contact with him. She's been defiant, but she's making sure she doesn't lose her face."
Katie previously claimed she had been asked to pay a six-figure sum to grant Lee's release but did not do so. "The only way Lee will get out of prison is he has to sort himself out himself. If not, he'll be in prison. I'm not here to pay anything for anyone. There's nothing I can do. I've got my own life, even though he's part of my life," she said.
