Katie Price Says Lee Andrews to Be Released from Dubai Prison Within Days
Katie Price: Lee Andrews to Be Released from Dubai Prison

Katie Price has revealed that her husband, Lee Andrews, is expected to be released from prison in Dubai within days, and she admits she 'can't wait' to see him again. The couple, who married in January after a whirlwind romance, have been apart since early May, prior to the alleged 'kidnapping' controversy that made headlines.

The businessman has been detained at Al Awir Central Prison for several weeks, prompting the 48-year-old former glamour model to travel to Dubai to uncover the truth. The pair had been married for only five months when Lee suddenly vanished, leading Katie to believe he had been kidnapped after a video call showed him with a hood over his face and restraints on his hands, claiming he had been 'captured'.

Katie shared the kidnapping news just days after Lee failed to appear for a scheduled interview on Good Morning Britain in the UK. It later emerged that Lee had been arrested on fraud allegations and has been held at Al Awir Central Prison since.

Despite widespread scrutiny and speculation that the couple might divorce, Katie has now confirmed that Lee will soon be released, and she is eager to reunite with him. Speaking to The Sun, she said: 'He is coming out, I can't wait to see him, can't wait to have our chats, and he should be out next week, but knowing that, knowing what prisons are like even in England, you never know.'

Although reports suggested that Lee would need to pay approximately £140,000 to secure his release, Katie insisted she will not provide him with any money. She stated: 'I've made it clear to Lee, I will never give him money, I'll never give a man money, I've done it all my life, I've always been the breadwinner. My divorces, I'm the one that always has to give. I said to Lee I'll never do it.'

The TV personality also revealed that she never believed her husband had ended their relationship after his sudden disappearance. Katie explained that she remained convinced something more serious had occurred and was in contact with a specialist UK team due to concerns he might have been kidnapped. She said she trusted the strength of their relationship and never thought he deliberately 'ghosted' her, as they were in regular contact and shared interests like watching crime programmes.

However, Katie admitted that the situation has left her conflicted about the future of their marriage. She revealed that she cannot make any final decisions until she has spoken to Lee directly. The mother-of-five stressed that she cannot simply walk away without hearing his side of the story and understanding what has fully happened over the past month.
