Katie Price's New Doc Risks Shattering Truce with Peter Andre
Katie Price Doc Risks Shattering Peter Andre Truce

Katie Price's new Sky TV documentary series, 'Katie Price: Nothing To Hide', threatens to reignite her long-standing feud with ex-husband Peter Andre, despite a ceasefire declared earlier this year. The four-part series features explosive footage from their reality show and scathing remarks from Price's family, portraying Andre in a negative light.

Documentary Reveals Turbulent Marriage

In the documentary, Price reflects on her marriage to Andre, calling it the finest period of her life 'until things went sour'. The series includes clips from their reality programme, 'Katie and Peter: The Next Chapter', showing Andre launching verbal assaults. In one clip, he calls Price an 'arrogant b****' and a 'f****** idiot'. Price's sister Sophie describes the relationship as 'really intense' and 'toxic', while their mother Amy alleges Andre 'didn't like her drinking' or 'the way she dressed'. Price's brother Dan claims she 'couldn't have a drink at home' because Andre disapproved.

Family Concerns Over Truce

According to a source, Price's friends worry the documentary could jeopardise the truce with Andre, who is father to two of her children, Junior, 21, and Princess, 19. 'Katie's friends are worried she's upset Pete again, because she's opened a can of worms here,' the source said. 'They are concerned she's reignited their feud with what she's saying against him and by trying to blame him and not take responsibility. This is just opening old wounds.'

Explosive Rows Caught on Camera

In episode three, viewers see the couple savaging each other during filming in Los Angeles. After Price strikes up a conversation with a shop worker, Andre calls her a 'stupid cow'. Price retaliates by calling him an 'old f****** singer no one knows about', prompting Andre to label her a 'stupid, arrogant, miserable cow'. Price's mother Amy says the scenes are 'upsetting'. Price adds, 'I just felt in the relationship I lost control of who I was, and I couldn't be my full self in the end.'

Previous Truce and Joint Statement

Earlier this year, Price and Andre surprised fans with a joint statement promising to 'move forward into a new chapter with positivity and respect' for their children. In April, Andre told new magazine he believed they had turned a corner, saying, 'It's actually great. The kids are grown up and it's nice that everyone moves forward. It's just all positive and it's lovely. That's how life should be.' He added, 'There are enough problems in the world, you know? So it's really nice that things are moving forward in such a positive direction and great for the family.'

Impact on Children and Future Relations

The source warns the documentary could undo that progress, as Pete is portrayed unfavourably. 'Everyone is concerned, but Katie has brought this on herself and made this public,' the source said. 'Pete and Katie agreed to a truce, because everything's affected the kids badly, which they've spoken about in the doc. Everyone wants Kate and Pete to get on for the sake of the kids.' Price and Andre married in 2005 at Highclere Castle, the filming location for Downton Abbey, but their relationship ended after allegations of infidelity. Price, who married her fourth husband Lee Andrews in January, reflects, 'For people looking in, we were the perfect couple, but there were things that weren't right. It's all about communication and we didn't communicate, but we could have worked through it.'

In a statement at the end of episode three, Andre says, 'I have chosen not to speak publicly about these matters out of love and respect for Junior and Princess. Today, Katie and I maintain an amicable relationship in the interests of our children. I sincerely wish her happiness and peace for the future.'
