Jordan Banjo Jokes Wife Thought Gym Bruises Were Cheating

Jordan Banjo has revealed how his wife Naomi suspected he had been cheating on her after she spotted him covered in suspicious bruises. The I'm A Celeb star, 33, took to Instagram with a fun post to explain how his tough workout at the gym left him with prominent marks on his shoulders, leading his wife to jump to conclusions.

Bruises Spark Suspicion

Alongside a snap of his bruising, he wrote: 'I need a huge favour, someone needs to back me up and corroborate my story. Had my first spar back today after a few weeks away filming… Picked up a couple of bruises that apparently look suspicious to my wife.'

Jordan continued: 'She gets in, takes one look at my shoulder and bruises and says, 'Who you been sh*gging? Help me'.'

Naomi later joked in the comments: 'I'm gunna need to see the gym CCTV and your Find My iPhone before I start an argument.'

Family Life

The couple wed in 2022 and are parents to sons Cassius, eight, Atreus, three, and a daughter Mayowa 'Mimi' Angel, six.

It comes after Jordan and his brother Ashley, 37, revealed they suffer from 'dad guilt' amid their ever-growing work schedules. The Diversity stars have just completed a huge 100-day UK and Ireland tour, while Jordan has wrapped up filming for the next series of The Celebrity Apprentice. This meant the pair had to be away from their children at times, which they both agreed was difficult to navigate.

Ashley shares daughter Rose, seven, and son Micah, six, with his ex-partner Francesca.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Ashley and Jordan said: 'I think dad guilt comes if you love someone, if you have to be away, you're gonna feel pulled, aren't you? And especially when your kids are relying on you and you're responsible for looking after them.'

Although Ashley and Jordan struggle with being away from their children, they said it teaches them to know how to work hard.

Career Advice for Children

Jordan added: 'It's nice that we have a job that's quite forward facing. The kids see that, even on the tour Ash's kids were on the show. They sort of picked what the theme was going to be for a certain scene and that's shown in them we do that. So it's nice the fact that they are so heavily invested.'

While some parents dream for their children to follow in their footsteps, Ashley hopes for the latter. Though supportive of whatever career his children choose, he shared he would rather they avoid a career in the spotlight. 'I'd want them to be happy,' Ashley said. 'But I also, if I had any steer, I would not advise them to necessarily go into what we're doing or being in the public eye. I'd love them to have a really solid trade and just know a real skill.'

He added: 'I think especially nowadays, with the rise of influencers and AI, if I had to give advice to my kids, it would be just learn a really good trade.'

Likewise, Jordan is supportive of whatever career path his children choose. He said: 'If you ask my son what he wants to do, he says, 'I want to be a dancer, do radio, and also box'. He just lists everything that he's seen us do. Which is really nice.'

'I want mine to be happy. They could try to go into dance, but I would say they inherited dance from their mum - it might be a slightly tougher task.' He joked: 'All jokes aside, do whatever they want to do. I'll definitely never force them to be like, 'You're dancing'.'

New Venture

Ashley and Jordan are set to front a new live format called Winnrz Wednesdays, a weekly live show that gives people across the UK the chance to win cash, holidays and premium prizes in real time. The nationwide initiative builds throughout the week, with users taking part via the Winnrz platform before culminating in a live draw every Wednesday at 12pm.
