Jesy Nelson and her new boyfriend Ben Davies were asked to leave a London rooftop bar after an alleged heated confrontation with another group, according to reports. The former Little Mix star, 35, and her partner were reportedly told to leave Madison in St Paul’s after security was called to defuse the situation.
Alleged Confrontation at Madison
A witness claimed Ben was “in people’s faces” as things turned ugly, but no punches were thrown. Jesy reportedly tried to calm the situation. The argument’s cause is unclear, but the group, which included Jesy, Ben, a couple of men, and who the onlooker believed was Jesy’s mum, were asked to go.
The onlooker told The Sun: “Jesy and her boyfriend were kicked out of Madison in St Paul’s, the wider group consisted of Jesy, Ben, a couple of guys and who I believe was her mum. The whole group were being asked to leave and the situation became quite heated. They were getting very angry at the bouncer. The men were shouting at the bouncers and the woman was being very aggressive towards them.”
Witness Account
“There was a lot of arguing with the bouncers. It was very much coming across like a, ‘Do you know who I am?’ attitude. There was also talk around the venue that the group was giving off the impression they thought they were better than everyone else there,” the onlooker added.
Despite the incident, Jesy and Ben, a landscape gardener who previously dated Lydia Bright, were seen together on Sunday afternoon in the West End, confirming their relationship. They stopped for photos with fans.
Jesy’s Recent Split and Advocacy
Jesy split from her fiancé and father of her twins, Zion Foster, almost eight months ago. They announced their engagement last September but confirmed their split in January, weeks after revealing their twin girls had been diagnosed with a life-threatening condition. Last month, Jesy said she believes the condition tore them apart, speaking on her Prime show Jesy Nelson: Life Changing.
Earlier this year, Jesy joined forces with the Mirror on a petition to Parliament demanding all newborn babies are checked for spinal muscular atrophy. The petition has hit 100,000 signatures in one day and will now be considered for debate in Parliament. The Mirror has contacted reps for Jesy and Ben for comment.
