Stacey Solomon's Sister Jemma Closes Business to Become Full-Time Influencer

Jemma Solomon, the sister of TV presenter Stacey Solomon, has announced she is closing her home-organisation business, The Label Lady, after six years to pursue a career as a full-time influencer. The 37-year-old shared the news on Instagram on Sunday, stating that 2026 is about 'finding me again' and that she misses activities like baking and decorating her children's birthdays.

Jemma founded The Label Lady in 2020 after her husband Lee lost his job as a tradesman. She quit nursing and launched the custom label business, which grew to a six-figure turnover. In 2021, she secured investment from Lord Sugar, who became a director of the company. However, Companies House filings revealed net assets had fallen for three consecutive years, with cash reserves dropping from £630,000 to £342,000.

Jemma had previously described the current climate as 'the hardest time right now for small businesses' and acknowledged that 2025 would be her 'biggest struggle of a year'. She admitted she did not have the capacity to build a 'multi-billion-pound corporation' and that it had been 'really tricky, really tough'. Despite the closure, she insisted it was not a failure, saying 'sometimes it’s just time'.

Jemma plans to continue working with brands and affiliates, which she says allows her to be at home with her children. She noted that people often compare her to her sister Stacey, who presents BBC's Sort Your Life Out and is worth an estimated £7.3 million, but stressed there is no competition between them. 'We lift each other up and both help each other to achieve our dreams,' she said.
