Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan has candidly shared the emotional toll of his recent back surgery, admitting he felt "embarrassed and weak" during his recovery period.
The WWE Hall of Famer, known for his incredible strength and resilience in the ring, opened up about the humbling experience of needing assistance for basic movements post-operation.
The Road to Recovery
Hogan underwent a significant back procedure earlier this year to address long-standing issues from his wrestling career. The 70-year-old revealed that the rehabilitation process proved more challenging than anticipated.
"I couldn't even lift my legs," Hogan confessed. "Having to rely on others for help with simple movements was a completely new experience for me."
A Champion's Vulnerability
The wrestling legend, whose real name is Terry Bollea, described how the physical limitations affected him mentally. "For someone who's spent his life being strong, it was embarrassing to feel so weak," he admitted.
Hogan's surgery addressed spinal issues accumulated over decades of high-impact performances. Doctors reportedly warned him that without the operation, he risked losing mobility in his legs.
Looking to the Future
Despite the challenges, Hogan remains optimistic about his recovery progress. "Every day gets a little better," he shared. "I'm determined to come back stronger than ever."
The wrestling superstar's openness about his health struggles has resonated with fans worldwide, many of whom have praised his honesty about the realities of aging and recovery.
