Holly Willoughby Shares Makeup-Free Self-Care Weekend on Instagram
Holly Willoughby's Makeup-Free Self-Care Weekend on Instagram

Holly Willoughby looked radiant and glowing in makeup-free snaps as she shared snippets of her 'self care' weekend on Instagram on Saturday. The former This Morning presenter, aged 45, cut a trendy figure in her SKIMS x The North Face ski suit, embracing the snowy mountain scenery during a scenic family getaway.

Self-Care in the Snow

'My kinda self care', Holly wrote alongside a selfie featuring a cup of tea and dark chocolate in the background. She added to her look with a warm hat and twirled around in the snow for an Instagram clip, fittingly set to a song from Frozen with the caption: 'Do you wanna build a snowman?'

Family Time Away

While she did not reveal the exact location, it is likely Holly is enjoying a half-term skiing trip with her husband Dan Baldwin and their three children: Harry, 16, Belle, 13, and Chester, 10. This outing comes just a week after Holly shared a rare photo with Dan, posting a Valentine's tribute to her 'Romeo' from a holiday to Verona.

Valentine's Throwback

Holly and her TV producer husband, aged 51, who have been married for 18 years, tend to keep their relationship out of the spotlight. However, for Valentine's Day, Holly posted a loved-up throwback snap of the couple outside Juliet's Balcony in Verona, a site associated with Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, though it was created in the 1930s and is a tourist attraction.

The caption read: 'I found my Romeo... I love you always.' Friends like Christine Lampard and Nicole Appleton left supportive comments, with Holly replying to Nicole with a 'Happy Galentine's' wish.

Moving Forward After Challenges

This positive period follows a difficult chapter for Holly, including a horrifying kidnap, rape, and murder plot against her. Last year, security guard Gavin Plumb was convicted and sentenced to life in prison with a minimum term of 16 years for soliciting murder and encouraging or assisting others to rape and kidnap Holly.

As a result, Holly and Dan moved their children out of their south-west London home, and Holly quit This Morning after more than a decade. The Edwardian property has since been sold, with records confirming the change of ownership in 2024.

Fresh Start in a New Home

A source told The Sun: 'This will draw a line under a deeply uncomfortable period of Holly's life, and ensure they can make a fresh start in their new family home. Though it's bittersweet too as it's where Holly and Dan raised their children, so it has many happy memories for the couple as well.'

The couple purchased their current £8 million mansion in July 2024 with no mortgage after leaving their previous abode. Representatives for Holly have been contacted by The Daily Mail for comment.
