Hayden Panettiere's boyfriend Brian Hickerson has broken his silence through a lawyer following the actress's death in South Carolina.
Lawyer Issues Statement
Hickerson's attorney Sloan Ellis, from the Ellis Hinton law firm, told TMZ: "Hayden's death remains under investigation and it is important to allow that investigation to proceed."
Ellis added: "As has been publicly reported, police confirmed there were no signs of foul play. Out of respect for Hayden's loved ones and the ongoing investigation, there will be no further comment at this time."
Details of the Incident
It was revealed earlier this week that Hickerson's brother, Zack, found the Heroes actress unresponsive at an apartment in South Carolina, before she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Her cause of death is yet to be confirmed, but the Coroner's Office said there was "no signs of trauma". According to the outlet, officers are carrying out a probe alongside the coroner to determine the manner of death and if there was any 'criminal conduct'.
Family Statement
Her father, Skip, announced her death in a devastating statement, which read: "It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her — and to the millions who watched her onscreen."
